Built in Sunnyvale
Behind Geo Dasher
Inspired by Geometry Dash. Built in Sunnyvale, CA. Geo Dasher is a browser rhythm platformer with a retro arcade heartbeat, made to be picked up and played in a single tab.
It started with a simple idea: a block that never stops moving to the right, one button to jump and spin, and a stretch of spikes and landing blocks to clear. The roots are in the arcade cabinets and bright neon screens that shaped how we think about fun, and the game carries that energy into the browser.
Retro arcade roots
Every jump is timed by feel, not menus. Press space or the up arrow, and the block answers instantly. That is the whole design language, and it is why Geo Dasher stays easy to learn and hard to put down.
Made for the browser
No download and no account stand between you and the first run. It works on a laptop or a phone, so you can try it from wherever you are, in Sunnyvale or anywhere else.
Our Mission
To showcase a fast, retro-inspired browser platformer that is easy to jump into and fun to play. Geo Dasher is a rhythm platformer built in Sunnyvale, CA, inspired by the Geometry Dash style of play: a block that runs right on its own, one press to jump and spin, and a stretch of spikes and landing blocks to clear.
A browser game removes the biggest hurdle a new player faces. There is no installer to run, no account to create, and no store to visit. You open a tab, press space or the up arrow, and you are playing within seconds, whether you are on a laptop or a phone. That low barrier matters for a rhythm platformer, because the fun only shows up once you have actually tried a few jumps and started to feel the timing.
One button, one block, and a run that keeps you moving.
The simplicity is the point. With a single jump button, the whole challenge is timing, and every failed attempt is a short, quick reset that pulls you back in. Geo Dasher is built to be understood in seconds and mastered over a few more runs. If that sounds like your kind of arcade game, learn the controls and first-run tips, or join the playtest in Sunnyvale and help shape what comes next.
